I love that this film made a bunch of incel men angry! This movie was beyond what I was expecting and used silliness and humour to convey a very heavy and sad topic. Although some parts felt cheesy, the message is super important. My greatest take away question from the film was is it Barbie that scews the perception of womanhood and places unrealistic pressure of women? Or is it the perception of Barbie and women as a whole that hurts women and our understanding of what it means the be a woman?

As a huge fan of the Sopranos series (perhaps the greatest show of all time!), I was deeply disappointed by the film. The story’s plot was incredibly lacking in substance and flow. It was hard to pin any sort of crescendo, just a lot of choppy scenes and homages to the original. The movie had a lot of cliches and poor character/plot development and is reaching for what the old show had. Characters are cheep caricatures of the original …. Like the actors (who look nothing like their counterparts), are shoving down your throat that they are trying to be Paulie, or Sil, or Junior etc. There were aspects of the plot that made absolutely no sense, and at the end of it all I wish the story and legend of Dickie was still a mystery, bc the truth is embarrassing and ridiculous ! Overall, the movie is boring, poorly structured, poorly executed and I pray they make no more films or series based on the show!!!!

Rogue One is a phenomenal story that answers the greatest question of episode 3, A New Hope. This movie is definitely one for the hard one fans, that brings together many intriguing characters such as Sa Garrara, Galen Eros etc. It also seamlessly moves into A new hope which makes this film even more fantastic. To top off this incredible story the return of Darth Vadar to the big screen was chilling. They did such a great job that I think this movie trumps ALL new Star Wars movies in the Disney era. This movie truly provides the next movie with the hope that sparks life into the rebellion.

The film was fairly good. I really enjoyed how you were never fully sure which characters would embrace the light side or the dark side. It was really moving to hear all the jedi at the end giving Rey the strength she needed. However it all seemed rushed, theplot was much different then what it was building up to in the movies leading up. The intro could have been a bit more dramatic with the reveal of palpatine. It just seed like they could have a) made it 2movies long or b)make this movie longer. Either way that aspect of the film seemed lazy. Overall better than the last jedi.
