No clear singles on this album. But it is just that, an album, and that means it doesn’t have too. This is a special album, Kiss we’re not usually the trend setters but we’re always quick on the uptake of new trends. But this is a time when they went completely on instinct, and it cost them dearly. But in hindsight, they turned it around very quickly, and they left die hard Kiss fans something risky and unique.Great performances from all members, although Ace appears sparingly. No tour for this album, a new image, and a first single that included the demon crying, hurt sales and it was an easy target for haters for decades. But today it’s comfortably in the bands top ten albums. Odyssey may be the shining moment on the album, with sweet orchestrations, a perfect guitar solo, and mature arrangements and haunting melodies. The Elder is moving, I cherish it.
