The animation I'm afraid is making it difficult for myself to become immersed in the plot and characterisation. Perhaps it's something in the Mo-cap technology being used or just the path the character design team took, but the majority of the animal characters are too much of a distraction. It's a pity because I like the tone, direction and performances, but the attempt to imbue the animal characters upon the talent portraying them just doesn't work for me, (with the exception of Cate Blanchett's Kaa.) Will try watching it again.
