Don't listen to the professional critics, this film is far better than Disney's jungle book. For adults at least. I love the story, Mowgli became the jungle's protector makes better sense than him returning to his kind. With all the superstar casts, Mowgli's character shines the most. He knows how to play the part. In the end, to me this movie deserve a better rating than it has now. I give it 5/5. I hope Andy Serkis didn't feel discouraged with the less than stellar review and make a well deserve sequel to the new Mowgli's saga.
