If you’re a fan of previous Mario golf games, you’ll be sorely disappointed by this iteration. I finished the adventure mode in two nights and now I’m finding there’s not a whole lot else to do other than repetition of the same 6 courses against terrible opponents, with nothing left to unlock other than some dumb club sets to make characters hit the ball just a bit farther. The CPU’s are far too easy with no difficulty adjustment, the mechanics/physics of this iteration were made far too easy/simple, there aren’t near enough courses, and there were a bunch of new things briefly introduced in adventure mode that are never used again? I honestly feel ripped off paying $60 for a game that feels like it’s a demo. Just about every part of this game feels like it was rushed and incomplete and had so much more to offer. Nintendo should be patching this game or providing free DLC to make this game what it should’ve been before it was ever released. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT and honestly Nintendo should be embarrassed to have released this game in its current state.
