This could have been a great family movie, but I left the cinema feeling a bit ‘meh’. The story starts strongly, setting up some intriguing concepts - but never really resolves any of them satisfactorily. Too many plot lines are dead ends. There is also too much moralising throughout, but confusingly it is Morganna - the baddie - who has some of the most thoughtful insights. Finally - it really is not suitable for small kids - it should be rated a 12.
