I just finished watching your show about "smothered chicken " and as a 60+ southerner, I've never seen or heard of the concoction you made. Not being able to taste it I can't say anything about the taste of what you prepared but I can say that I've never seen bloody , half cooked chicken used in making smothered chicken. There was absolutely no "soul" in this recipe.
