In Australia we receive the telecast a day after the USA. I like the NewsHour very much and watch it whenever possible, from the Lehrer McNeil days. It gives me a perspective on the US which is not available locally, especially US domestic policy and US attititudes to international events. The NewsHour encapsulates the important issues of the previous 24 hours in an interesting and probing manner.
