Rosamond Pike’s performance was mesmerizing, and the supporting cast helped give this movie its gritty realism.

Some of the plot was a little uneven, particularly the motivation and goals of “the Prophet”, but the acting was fine, particularly Mackenzie Davis and Himesh Patel.

The makers of “The Undoing” have taken what should be just a pulpy 2 hour Lifetime TV movie and used one ridiculous plot twist after another to stretch it into a series.
I always liked the two stars, but here Hugh Grant relies on twitchy grimaces to portray a doctor accused of a bloody murder and Nicole Kidman’s face seems rather frozen as a psychologist unaware of the psychoses of everyone in her own family.
The courtroom scenes are contrived and the scenes in the end just made me throw up my hands in amused amazement.
