My favorite genre of movie is found footage, loving movies like the V/H/S trilogy, As Above so below, Europa Report, diary of the dead, REC, etc etc
my brother recommended this movie and I have to say...
It was AMAZING!!
watching it alone I noticed that they did very well for a low budget movie, and the way they shot the movie was excellent for emersion
I'm not religious/superstitious but the way they did a lot of the scares were really well done and actually scared me
IMPORTANT Info about the movie
After reading the one-star reviews, most described how it has a bad story and is confusing along with shaky camera work without being able to see anything, that is because the regular cut of the movie leaves out some of the most important scenes for the plot of the movie I won't reveal the contents of the scenes, but, they make the difference in understanding the plot and creating a good movie, I had felt the same way as the 1-star reviews until I saw the extended edition
