Episode two was horrible! Racist remarks and victimising black females - whyyyyy does this topic always have to be brought up. I’m in a mixed race relationship and we do not need to always be reminded of our differences - we know we are and it’s beautiful - so this constant negative spin on it is more than Annoying! Shame because it looked great but we will not be watching

Finally a film that is diverse! Anybody who speaks up against this due to skin colour of the children, should seriously consider a mental health check, are they not human just like you? It makes me so sad that there are so many criticising, not due to the storyline, not due to the acting skill but simply due to the choice of skin tone for the actors, is that you openly admitting that you are racist ? I hope they keep casting black people, not reduced to films about slavery , the maid , or the angry stereo type but instead for powerful lead roles sometimes, until the world has healed from this toxic divide - I’m white not black, but I feel for my friends children when all they get to see on tv are topics about race rather than feeling included and inspired by white as well as black actors... I shouldn’t feel what I’m feeling and that’s exactly what is wrong with this world. I‘m done with having to see * black movie sections“ on Movie platforms because we are yet again deviding great entertainment not even due to culture (not all black have the same culture as from different countries) but simply due to skin colour... just think about it for a second... all blacks , one box, although multiple cultures? It’s wrong! This film is excellent in many ways and won’t end up in the “black movies ” shelf it section. The diversity in this is just a beautiful, which in an ideal world, EVERYONE should enjoy. If the only reason you dismissed this film is the anger you felt when you saw a black cast then it’s time you put yourself in their shoes- if your child or you yourself never had entertainment which showed you the diversity of the real world or worse only represented the other race ... tell me you wouldn’t feel sad- watch it and share this with your kids for a true reflection of real life at least visual

OMG Im in love, no im obsessed with the show and it’s Potential. Whoever came up with this is a Genius... love , romance, dramas, intelligent. It’s glamorous and down to earth all at the same time. It takes you away from reality without being too unrealistic and that’s an art in itself. For season two I hope we see characters bond on a deeper level, the same beautiful level of equality supported by a diverse cast. I love that race isn’t too much of a topic in this as I can imagine, we’re all sick of hearing and reading about it in real life, we don’t need a constant reminder of this. This is a good start to unite humanity - black white or whatever ... in this Show we are seeing kind , flawed and real people who are looking for love , success or simply finding themselves and that is the best recipe for a good show! I hope they add some beautiful new songs too transformed into the sound of that era... bring on Season two and I wouldn’t mind a more complex story line but for the first season this was everything I could ask for! Thank you Netflix, writers and production team for this magic - The only thing missing to tick the last box, is a black female artist who also has an happy ending... doesn’t even have to be the main character but would be nice to see a beautiful blacked or mixed girl who isn’t angry or mean all the time

Great but it was a big mistake getting rid of the heart of the show- house iconic was the best house as it had the best spirited people in it , they were inspiring
