Kid Cosmic is how you write a kid hero that is realistic and avoids the "most writers are adults" pitfalls that other kid hero centric shows usually suffer from.
It also has some good lessons that even adults can understand like "heroes help, not hurt" and "Evil is just a heart that is hurting", considering that it analyses the true meaning on what it takes to be a hero, not in an "work hard to obtain power and defeat a bad guy" kind of way, but in a way that involves helping others and understand others' viewpoint regardless of differences.
And if you want a show that is a dedicated love letter to superheroes but also breaks down the cliches while also telling a good story and delivering great messages, I definitely recommend checking Kid Cosmic out. ;-)
