Apart from inserting unnecessary and extremely cloying segues every now and then, 'DB Super,' tries really hard to overcompensate for the sheer lack of plot impact or any prior build up, failing to properly queue together even the most basic essences of an ongoing arc.
Dragon Ball Super is currently riding on the coattails of its predecessor-- DBZ; way more established, more successful comparatively, during its time. DBS has the potential to achieve better results, given that it already has a good foundation (From DBZ) to stand on and build upon further but, only time will tell if DBS can actually survive in the long run.
Personally, as someone who's always cherished the days, since (Year: 1991) childhood, when Dragon Ball used to air on TV, I wish only good things for this anime.
Goku is eternal in my books!
