This was a film that had every possibility to be "thought-provoking". But no. The plot holes were numerous, the racially-driven dialogue and interactions were cringeworthy, and the pacing felt clunky. Some scenes went on too long, and certain details were left in and they shouldn't have been. Firstly, if you really want to explore the idea of intersectionality and how race, gender, and class influence equality, you cannot do it by putting on airs of pretentiousness. The dialogue in certain places made ME uncomfortable, and I'm black. This movie could have really been something, and I'm disappointed. Twist ending? No way.
