Excellent action-revenge, David versus Goliath, beating government-corruption, beating-addiction story that has dad leaving the hitman job to return home to his family.

Parental alienation, small-town corruption are explored. Great action-suspense.

Very good suspense. I wouldn’t call it “erotic” like Prime does.

You are unlikely to find a place beside a desert road where you can bury a body and a barrel to burn the other evidence, especially one that wouldn’t draw attention. Digging a grave in a floor less tent and not leaving a grave-sized mound would be wiser. “I’ll show myself out.” isn’t a normal statement in a middle class home. I find it less conspicuous to only kill one person annually, and, after the humans are dismembered, pigs are probably the best way to dispose of bodies. Otherwise, outstanding suspense.

Pretty good horror, though there isn’t a lot of character development for the antagonist, besides the fact that he wasn’t sent for therapy to teach him how murder and kidnapping aren’t nice.

If the point of the robbery was to get rich, why bludgeon the babysitter? Since the robbers were masked, why the need to get the girl? Why the need to change gloves after the first killing? Why the confusion about fuse boxes versus circuit breakers? Houses built in the last 50+ years have circuit breakers. After being stabbed, why would Dad give away the combination? After all the felonies, why would the daughter be left half alive? Acting good.

Super scary movie that blends protagonist’ hallucinations with a series of murders by her ex after his escape. Ending was a bit incomplete with showing where the bodies had disappeared, but partly that suggested his survival.

I would give it 5 stars if it had classified itself as a drama. I wouldn’t call it an action-adventure film.

Like a science fiction with action, it’s own genre. Liked the action aspects, though the reincarnation theme was a little weird. Watched it because Mark Wahlberg starred in it, and the action didn’t disappoint.
