this movie blows. i was optimistic going into it considering anthony hopkins played hitler but nope..it seemed like he knew this movie was going to be a pile of hot garbage and gave up halfway through. i felt like i was watching a parody of all those cheap, soap opera-esque ww2 dramas it was so bad–this alone completely ruined whatever tension the director was hoping to portray. there’s also a significant amount of long, awkward pauses which makes for an endlessly fun viewing. “goebbels” needs limping lessons. but despite all this they somehow managed to get the front of the reich chancellery to look nearly identical to the real thing.
