Downhill after episode 3. I had high hopes but then the story got stupid fast. Loved the dogs, love John Lithgow, love Bridges until his old man noises reached a distracting level, everything else is lame after the backstory flashbacks start.

I don't mind the human drama aspects or the depiction of conflicting values- but they could add more depth and nuance. I do mind the leftleaning bend of the inserts. And the plague episode bothered me greatly-. the carelessness of introducing the pathogen bc they didn't follow any protocol for the possibility lurking in alien soil samples... I highly doubt a scientist like Marta would have run her lab that way.
