MIGUEL “MIGUCCI” GOMEZ

I'm going to keep it short and simple. He blew it folks. Hereditary it is NOT. It sucks to see a relatively decent sized budget get wasted on a horrible script, no story, no resolution, no explanation and no joy. True horror fans know what I mean. A "great" horror film should be a joy to watch. This film left me pissed, cramped and utterly disappointed. Thumbs WAY down.

I CAN'T STAND TOM CRUISE. That being said, I LOVE THIS FILM! This film is everything War of the Worlds tried to be and failed at. I'm stunned at how completely underrated it is. Only until I was able to see it for free on (God forbid) regular television, had I even known it existed. I'm a total snob when it comes to scifi movies and this one actually had me cheering at the end. Fantastic, unique and fresh script, amazingly paced and edited, superbly acted and never had me bored for a moment. I highly recommend it. It should be nicknamed Edge of your Seat (cheesy, I know) but that's what it does from the opening title to the last frame. Awesome.

Vicious, wicked and extremely well acted. It's this generations DANGEROUS LIAISONS. Not at all what I expected. It almost shocked me with its punk rock attitude about class distinctions and social climbing. As dark and sad at times as it is witty and sharp with and ending so abrupt one almost thinks it's a joke. The Favorite is pretty flawless in its delivery and I never found myself bored for a moment. I loved this movie.
