Had promise but never delivered. Liked the premise but the story never went anywhere.... spoilers ahead... ya of course a journey across the country after a mysterious cataclysmic event would be tough, but I dont buy Tom dying so easily from broken ribs... being an ex marine I'm sure he wouldve found a way to at least do some patching up along the way. Last 15 mins were the worst. Could've salvaged the movie with a good explanation (or frankly just ending when he finds Sam) but the neighbour scenario... please, who didn't see that coming. Let's sprinkle in a tiny bit of a sex scene just cuz aaaaaand cut! Movies done... oh wait lets just have them drive off instead...
