Madison and Alicia are the worst characters. Idk if it’s the actresses or the scripts, but they were not good. I think I can actually say the actresses bored me. Everyone else in the show did great and reeled me in. 2 stars bc Madison and Alicia had to many speaking roles lol. They are main characters sadly

This really could’ve been made into a series instead of a movie. I feel like the movie has soooo much more to unpack and give as a show. The movie was ok, cute, positive, slow, calm, mellow, quiet. Until Rel came on screen. For me this movie just was missing something and I left out feeling unfulfilled. I can’t put my finger on it though. Lakeith showed emotions and vulnerability but Issa was kinda really bland. She brought Insecure to The Photograph. She didn’t really deliver her character to me. Overall it is worth watching. It’s cute and will make you smile and laugh. I’ll watch it again when it comes on Netflix.
