I have never had the intention to write any public review until this one: because it's utterly disappointing. No character development, no buildups, no chemistry between characters (not even between Mulan and her dad), no songs, no mushu, no ancestors gathering, lame cricket, and not to mention Mulan's mom became such a stereotypical asian tiger mom. I won't go as far as saying this movie ruined my childhood because the animated version will always be the one in my heart, but it's such a pity that this would be watched by the current young generations, they should also watched the animated version which is obviously more lively, more funny, more morale value and less cringey moments.
