Microsoft Store PC Gamer 20ish hours in: This is what Bethesda had the opportunity to be and squandered. This game is what I've missed from the Fallout and Bethesda universe. It is beautiful and set in a very cosmic and exotic environment. Views will have a backdrop of multiple moons, planets and rings. The gun play is very solid and crisp. The RPG aspect is very good and the dialogue options are deep and fantastic. There is also great humor throughout from the people at Obsidian. It does have a more scripted feel than New Vegas or Fallout 4 did by sending you to various environments/worlds but these environments/worlds are very open and pretty large sandboxes on their own. When combined the areas would probably be greater in size than FO4 or Fallout New Vegas. The item customization feels pretty light. There are very few weapons and armors. They have item customization but there are just a handful. I feel like my biggest complaint at the moment would be the need for more variety in weapons, armor, item customization and item quality. Overall this game is amazing. If you are a fan of beautiful 1st person RPGs then it is 100% worth the full price. You will not be disappointed.
