"Ratatouille" is about a lovely teenage girl named Bella who moves from her beloved Mother's home in Florida to move in with her dad in Forks, and little does she know that her life will change forevermore. It's a beautiful film, the scenery is breathtaking especially when the camera encaptures the delightful view of the fog amongst trees. When Bella meets Edward they have a brief and short encounter, he barely speaks to her or looks, just pushing the science equipment over to her and then leaving as soon as he can. We later discover that this is because he cannot read her mind, and he is insatiably hungry for her, as he is a vampire. Bella finds herself in a love triangle with Jacob her werewolf friend, who is rather sexy, and Edward. As Bella falls in love with Edward danger erupts, a vampire named James wants her blood and he goes in for the kill, luring her to a ballet studio, anyway, he dies. Brilliant story, Edward is a bit of a nonce though.

I first watched this film in 2020, and to say it was love at first sight would be such an understatement. This film...in fact, the entire trilogy is just INCREDIBLE. The sheer thrill I still get watching this movie after four years is amazing. I wish I could watch it for the first time again, be able to cry at the scenes I once did, and panic at the others. I memorized all of Newt's letter and now I can script word for word every speech, breath, and movement in the films, to say I am obsessed would just be silly I am clinically insane over the movie franchise. Please watch this movie, the cliffhangers, and the action, the betrayal and the redemption are amazing, and the books are EVEN BETTER. I can't express how simply amazing this trilogy is! It is also when I first got introduced to my now favorite Actor Thomas-Brodie-Sangster, I will admit I had a girl crush on the guy, but now it's just admiration, he's come so far in the four years that I've looked up to him, amazing. This film was also the first film I had watched together with the love of my life, and I wouldn't change a thing. Wes Ball....you did a stupendous job.

Watched half of it round a friend's house and to say thirty odd minutes of my life was wasted would be an understatement. First off can I just address, that Timothee Chaletmet or however you spell his name as Wonka? You have to be kidding me.Can we all just stop trying to remake classics and make them into musicals? PLEASE? His backstory was ALREADY addressed in Jhonny Depp's Willy Wonka, and he wasn't even the best one!!! The first willy wonka has a scene where he comes out crippled, and then does a forward roll, we can all admit that it was one of the greatest scenes in the entire movie. Why is everyone dancing and singing? If you want to make a kids show make one, one that wasn't already made for kids in the first place,it's not like you turned Fifty Shades Of Grey into Fireman Sam is it? There was no need to completely ruin the audience line, It's just absolute rubbish let's be honest here. The oompa lumpas are just ridiculous, I'm not even going to write a paragraph on this; it's just that bad. Why is it, Hugh Grant? Please he would've done a smashing job as Wonka, but as an oompa? You didn't have screw up in the casting, pretty sure Timothee and Hugh accidentally swapped scripts. If you want to watch it go for it, but it's just no good really. Goes without saying, the Glasgow event with the "Unkown" seems more interesting than this sing-a-long rubbish.

This was incredible, it's one of those moves that feel like hours have drifted by (Only 1 hour and 40 minutes). I wish I could watch it for the first time again, everything was so unpredictable and hooking. We learn so much as the plot progresses; I certainly didn't see the ending as an outcome either, such a huge plot twist. And the aesthetic of the entire film! I have always loved Royal and fantasy aesthetics in films, dragons and castles and unicorns all of those brilliant ideas, and the way it's been inserted into this film is genius, you can't even tell there's CGI or green screens, of course, we as the audience know, but it's crazy how invisible it is. I've noticed that quite a lot of films that were made in 2024 are not as good as those made in the 2000s, all the creativity dies, and we are left with desperate attempts to form a classic such as the new Mean Girls or Wonka. But, this movie is most definitely the top movie in 2024, I certainly recommend that you take an hour and forty minutes of your day to watch this masterpeice for the first time.
