The Mono-Located, two characters movie will definitely place it to be one of the iconic movies made during #2020Lockdown. Mix up the flavours of Kapurush by Satyajit Ray and Dosar by Rituparno Ghosh= u get the feeling of tension in this mesmerizing masterpiece by Sam Levinson- Malcolm & Marie. Though, it does not summaries this unique take on complexities associated with human emotions and passion as shown in the movie. The tension will exhaust you, yet you will stick on to it. 😑 Malcolm and Marie are deeply in love with each other, though their fights are ugly and self-discovering. The real-time drama tracks the development of arguments between them just like a visual game, a race to win the ultimate authority in the relationship. Having said that both Zendaya and Washington have inexplicably marked the character flaws through their impeccable and compelling performances. The B&W tone of the movie does not only enhances the underlying tension but also draggs the audience attention solely to the happenings of the plot. A must watch for the people who are revisiting the essence of love in a post-modern, iconoclastic and self-destructive world.

Please watch this after you have grown up with Village Rockstars. That will surely change your perspectives on the adolescents period. Remembering your own emotional equations with your friends and family, this movie will make you mourn on your personal loses at any moment of your life. It reemphasizes our incapability of not being able to do anything to alter the course of sad things, though you know they are coming. Faults that are in the script on scene sequence can be kept aside for the amazing potrait of the village and for the natural acting prowess of the girls and boys.

One of the few series that have proved me wrong by ending like a deep session of introspection. The fact that I didn't expect anything new beyond cliched Indian portrayals, would not be exaggerated. I started watching this as 1-2 episodes of try to just sense the genre and leave it as it is. One episode is gone and I just realised that it is more than a teenage drama with usual cring of being school-wide popular but actually a self-taken and self-motivated journey of finding the roots in a most complicated situation. The connection between unrelated celebrity voiceovers and the centre plo of the pivotal characters is yet to be made. The journey to the inner space of Devi is yet to be taken. That is how you become so eager and hopeful about the Season 2. To the adored Mindy Kaling, we want a second season. But I can wait for months if you promise to come back with same astounding story. (No Spoiler) Don't know whether to hate it or not! some fight scenes ARE GRUESOME! BUT IT WILL MAKE YOU THINK! I mean, with an iconoclastic force within the characters it startles you at some mid point. Editing is a gem and after watching this you got to sit down for 2 minutes gathering together the scattered loops together, to make you think that the real story was actually going on this whole time and you may have missed it! One of those mind bending movies! Must watch for #bradPitt and #davidFincher lovers.
