I've watched the show a couple of times since Roseann's swift exiting, and truthfully, they need her back! John Goodman's character of Dan is great. Hes a great actor, and does the character well. But both Laurie Metcalf and the actress who plays Becky, seem like they're trying to overdo it almost. They're both almost neurotic. And Laurie Metcalf is an awesome actress so I'm not sure what she's trying to do here?? It seems to me that they should've allowed Roseann to make a public apology for what she said, and then maybe given her a second chance, because having a show go on without its star and namesake has proven rocky for The Connors.
