This is the movie that killed the franchise. This is a good example of a big company using generic characters to keep costs low and to maximize profits. This is the outcome when a greedy soulless company takes over a beloved franchise, they make one low budget spinoff, making tons of money and killing it at the same time. No fan of Ice Age will bother themselves, if or when a new movie comes out, me included...to go out and watch it.
