Pumba and Timone saved this movie. The flow was choppy and slow, it became boring and it dragged, until Pumba and Timone entered and redeemed this movie from what could have been a tragic remake. The music could've been better, I mean, Beyonce just couldn't resist adding her riffs and runs to ths song "can you feel the love tonight". The beginning was not as powerful as I hoped it would be. That is due in part to the opening song "circle of life" lacking energy power and climax as previous versions. I give the remake a 2/5.
