I first saw this movie in 1994 on valentine day thinking it was a romantic nonsensical movie and was pleasantly surprised that it was not. The Siciliano scene is gritty with Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper giving award winning performances. Entire movie was great and it gets 5 stars from my perspective. Watch the directors cut version.
