As a long time fan of the Mortal Kombat series. This movie was very dissapointing to me. The pacing of the movie felt way too fast. It only took it time when it came to the first 10 mins. The only pros I would say are the characters designs, fight scenes and references to the mortal kombat games. But those kind of fanservice can get you so far. The characters are bland to watch aside from Kano who was pretty enjoyable to see. Most the characters do feels like surface level of what they are from the game. I can understand the idea of not being 1 to 1 copy of game story. But for movie call mortal kombat, there seem to be a lack of an actual tournament. Overall I would rate this movie a 4/10. At most a 5/10 just because of all the references to the game.
