Don't listen to GameSpot or IGN! This game is a faithful recreation of the original, meaning that features, good or bad, were kept in the game and not much was changed. They judged it way too harshly. The main thing they changed was the bosses and their pacing, and thankfully they're all improvements. The game is a little glitchy but in a fun way. Also keep in mind that the game's development was rushed and they will probably release a patch that fixes some of the more glaring issues, such as loading time.
