There was no doubt from the first chapter this is a man writing a lead female character and her two daughters. This is a woman of old fashioned romance novels, of soap opera's, of a man's fantasies. The main character is weak, indecisive, timid, a doormat, and completely unbelievable from page one. Her daughters are also unbelievable. The store owner is unbelievable. The plot is unbelievable. Not one to quickly give up, I kept hoping the lead character would develop or improve, it didn't. It is rare that I finish a book and feel it was a complete waste of time. This plot is full of holes and also unbelievable. I have an entire bookshelf of books that take place in Paris. This is the worst. To leave this on a beach chair for a tourist would be doing the tourist a disservice. This book is a fail on all levels. The only thing good about this book is it title. The book itself is fireplace kindling. I'm not a troll, especially when it comes to writers. The book is just an eye roller.

Sailing to Capri is probably one of the worst books I've read. It's a badly written romance novel pretending to be a mystery. The main characters manage to be unbelievable and unlikable at the same time.The dialogue of the adult women sounds more like pre-teens talking. It is painful to read. The research was poor, for example:this book takes place in 2006 and one of the main characters is 40 years old from outside Dallas. The author has him riding his horse to school as a teen 20 miles each way? Dallas is a thriving city with sprawling suburbs, it would have been the 1980's,not the 1880's. I can not take in how Elizabeth Adler could be a bestselling author.

Well written and insightful. Jaron Lanier (who invented virtual reality). is one of the true innovators of our time. He is able to view things in their big picture scenarios.

Very watchable and awe inspiring documentary. You will never think of Faberge eggs in the same way again.
