I have been a solid fan of Doctor Who for more yrs than I care to admit. This season has been an incredible letdown, the writers have no concept of just who the doctor is, and although I was very excited to see Jodie Wittaker as the new Dr., the writers have let her down terribly. I watch and re-watch old seasons, this season has me deleting after watching once. The sonic screw driver feels like a wand right out of Harry Potter, and her use only magnifies this. Her character lacks confidence, and maturity, and genuine humour. Sad, very sad. Edited to add. I have given up on this season. Doctor Who is dead.
