NCR Trooper

The immaturity is great. It's as if Campus and Aristotle had a philosophical child and Hunter Thompson taught it how to speak. Absurdism meets Stoicism meets a kid who just learned what the F word is. At times, it does seem repetitive, and I can argue that you can easily get the message by reading the chapter titles, a paragraph, and the first sentence, but it's still fun. My only criticism is that it could've been shorter and it feels like 75% fluff.

I'm not much of an avid reader, and I recommend this to any students in Highschool/adults who are struggling with reading often. I managed to read several pages a day without zoning out or just mindlessly reading the words. The humor is easy, the characters are good, and the intro is a Tarantino esque hook that is just so amazing. The language is cruel and edgy, but in a charming way. I'll say it again: give this book to a struggling reader. It made me want to try getting back in the game. I'm not gonna lie, I didn't know Bobby Hill was a rapper at the time of picking up/reading the book, I later learned while looking it up to review it.
