Holmes and Watson does not offer many laughs as the trailer promises. The performances of Will Farrell and John C. Reilly are strong but the script seems flawed at many places and fails to offer a power-packed story as one might expect in a detective comedy genre. Comedy seems goofy often and they hardly seem to bring out the laughs. Rebecca Hall is a delight to watch on screen. Overall, this periodical comedy disappoints on many facets. A forgettable experience!
