Provocative, superbly acted and great production values. Great character development. A must see. My only complaint, James, who may have been older than Jesus, was portrayed by a WAY too old actor. This was commonly done in the older Biblical movies, portraying the disciples as older gentlemen. But most scholars today believe the disciples ranged in age from teens to thirties. The only one that made it to be an old man was John. Loved how Caviezel showed humanity of Christ. Easy to see why he's at the top of most "Jesus" lists! Jesus was shown as the epitome of GOOD, Satan as pure evil, and everyone else falls somewhere in between. Moving, a perfect Holy Week watch.
