‘Where the world ends’ is a story by Geraldine mcCaughrean about St Kilda, an island off the coast of scotland. Quill, a teenage boy, goes to the warrior stac with his fowling party to catch birds, but when the week’s over and the return boat still hasn’t arrived, the fowlers are left to survive the whole of winter on the steepest, coldest and highest stac in St Kilda. During their stay they get up to all sorts of adventure’s from false ministers to ghosts of prisoners. I would give this book a 5 star rating as it’s a good book but some of the language isn’t very nice so i wouldn’t recommend it under children under the age of 10.
