Season 28 was the first season I watched. I was less excited after seeing Brice voted off of a team that lacked diversity. There were very minorities in this season, though I would imagine there were probably less in previous seasons. The lack of representation did not sit right with me. Maybe I will try watching another season down the road. Hopefully things will change by then.

Definitely enjoyed the show but I immediately felt down after seeing that it was another "American" TV series that excluded minorities from lead roles. The minorities were all side characters. The story takes place in a "fictional" world, a world of fantasy. Why is it so easy to fall into a story of monsters and magic, yet having minority lead actors and actresses is beyond our imagination? When I see a diverse cast, it feels easier to pull myself into a story. I couldn't quite do that with this show.

This is absolutely my favorite show.
