Spoiler review 9/10 , People are unfairly rating this game and fail to view characters objectively. One popular review was complaining about Ellie being a lesbian and being selfish for not reproducing..... seriously? Another review was complaining about too much walking and not enough combat... seriously? There's way more combat compared to the first game People fail to realize that the world isn't black and white. Abby has her reasons for revenge and so does ellie. People need to stop assuming that there is a right or wrong in a lawless world where society had fallen and there's no justice system. Abby kills and tortures Joel because Joel killed her surgeon dad and destroyed the fireflies. Ellie and Tommy wants to kill Abby because Abby killed and tortured Joel. It's a revenge story involving two lethal main characters. Game play is amazing and finished the game on hard. I didn't like the jump scares, that's my own opinion. It kept me on my toes but I like to enjoy my game and not paranoid. Human Ai is kind of dumb, but still challenging. Stealth runs were kind of easy on hard difficulty for humans. Abby is a confusing character. She takes in 2 scar kids and betrays her whole organization. But she was liked by everyone on the WLF. She's also the reason why a lot of WLF members died, because Ellie and Tommy are looking for her. All her friends died because of her, that's punishment enough in my opinion. If anything, Ellie is lucky that Dina, Tommy, and baby are still alive. Abby sparing Ellie and being the "bigger person" was unexpected considering Ellie and Tommy killed all her friends and lover. It's pretty confusing how Ellie lost to Abby when she had 0 equipment, but Ellie had all of hers and home court advantage. Side characters- Tommy shines the most in the game and proves why he's the most lethal person in the world after Joel is gone. Sort of hated Tommy in the end of the game because he still insisted on revenge even though he wiped out 25% of the WLF by himself and killed people close to abby. Jesse was cool and a great companion. Dina was the best companion because she was cute, enough said. Manny was OK. Lev was pretty much Abby's Ellie. The kid is deadly, I'd say he's the 3rd best character behind Tommy and Dina. Owen was also great and the pregnant doctor girl was OK. I didn't like how the game was open world in the beginning, then it became a linear story after Ellie loses her horse. It should've been a linear story from start to finish. The map became useless after that, until Abby found the map. The flash backs for both characters were pretty good. But I thought there were too many in my opinion. The game is too short and boring compared to other previous mario part games. Not enough video games and not enough game modes. Very disappointed. Felt like the game was rushed and there has not been any update to it.
