I'm forever trying to figure out the value of adding g'damn to perfectly well written and interesting material. It makes no sense to me, it doesn't add value, it doesn't make it more interesting, it doesn't make the writing any richer and it's the one word that is so offensive to a large population of people. Why can't they just say damn? And to make it worse why does anyone think it's ok for kids to use this language. I'm so fed up with watching good work turned into trash because they think that's what people want to hear!
