(This might contain a little bit of spoilers so don’t review this comment if you don’t want to know them) (Hope you find this helpful) There has been a lot of controversy about this game. Along with all of the events that took place and what happened in between them took a wide turn. I was pissed off about the death of Joel straight out the gate. I understand that he was old and we all probably knew it was gonna happen eventually, but it shouldn’t have happened that quickly and it shouldn’t had gone down like that. Later in the story, The Joel’s brother (Tommy) gets shot out of nowhere. It’s like Naughty Dog didn’t care about the character and I know he wasn’t as important as Joel, but he was like another version of him if you know what I mean. Luckily he wasn’t dead, but this game continues to go on a repeating circle about REVENGE and DEATHS. In my opinion I felt like I couldn’t play the game for long periods of time because it made me so depressing. For example, not only do we play as the murder of Joel more than Ellie, but the fact that they showed the flashback of Ellie willing to give Joel another chance of rebuilding their relationship felt depressing. The reason for this is because that was the night before everything escalated with Joel dying and the start of the repeating cycle. All in all, in the end of the game Ellie loses everything (As Joel told her in the first game that she doesn’t know what it’s like to loose everything well now she knows) trying to go after Abby even though it wasn’t worth it because Ellie let her go and in the process got two of her fingers bitten that helped her play guitar. If you really think about it if Ellie kept her word and said no and stayed with her family Abby would have died at the junkyard where the hunters kept her at and Ellie would have gotten her revenged without losing anything. All in all, I’d give the game a solid 6/10. I’m bumping some points down because of the repeating cycle and the Abby BS. I liked how it tied in with the surgeon which gave NPC’s more of an importance because we just blatantly killed Abby’s father in the first place not realizing the importance of it. In the grand scheme of things, this wasn’t necessary a bad game, but a game we don’t like and that’s why it getting a 6/10. (Sorry if this is too long, but I just had to get my point across thank you for reading all of this.)

Listen Don’t get me wrong this game is alright. Not the best game I’ve ever played but a decent game. The career mode is by far in my opinion the best mode in the game. It’s new and fresh for me instead of 2k18 where we would do the same routine over and over again. Me personally I don’t really like all of the weird demon like characters but the story behind it is good. But the worst thing about the game is the TARGETING MODE. Now I get it Yukes left but at least delay the game to April of 2020 or something. Going off topic umm yeah it’s a alright game And if you can deal with the targeting mode and not being able to lock on to a specific superstar especially in the 4 horsewomen mode where there are many objectives to locking on to a specific character and not having the ability to do so cause another superstar will interfere and mess up your whole objective the I would recommend getting it since it has a good roster and unique features.
