To the comments that came before mine, yes, the movie uses internal monologue, it uses memories, the tunneling process as Virginia Woolf called it (the author of the book it's based on). The technique was new for her time, looks like it's new for these people as well (I wonder what they watch/read/consume). Also, to the person thinking the kiss was for the movie... in the book the women DO kiss, and it's the best moment in Clarissa's life, as she describes it. Read the book first tho, should take a couple of hours, more than the movie, but you'll understand the movie better (I hope).

I loved everything about the show. I think it's translation from the comics is spectacular. I read them all and loved them but the series adds something new and fresh to them. The story they wrote is impeccable. Also I get 2 versions of the adventures of the runaways and that's a plus. Happy me
