Unexpected. I don’t usually enjoy Sci Fi or any kind of genre similar to that, but Umbrella Academy is a show you can maybe pick a favorite character and watch them grow and develop, either develop in a good way or in a destructive way. I enjoy Ellen Page’s character the most and Number 5 makes me laugh at his outrageous scheming. The characters work well together, there seems to be an on screen chemistry which I think would transpire in real life. All in all, entertaining, makes you think, keeps you on your toes and there’s also a lot heart felt (feel good) moments too! Good show, season 2 just as good as season 1 :)

If you grew up in the 80’s it’s like you’re actually back there. The clothes, the toys, the technology, even down to the family values. The Goldbergs reminds us all that our family’s are weird and it was okay to be weird. I am genuinely transported back to my childhood and for those who wanted to escape our childhood by listening to music and being obsessed with sitcoms and movies in the 80’s, this show is a must for you. Boys and girls, mums and dads alike, there’s something special in this show for everyone. I’m watching the whole thing again from the beginning because I enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend it.

This is a great series. It’s interesting, engaging, takes you away completely into its own world like all fantasy should. The characters take time to develop, but just like all brilliant shows, you won’t get the full depth of characters until you invest in the show (invest your time in completing the whole season, would be my first recommendation). I wanted more by the end of the season and I do hope Netflix picks it up for another season. I love to hate a lot of the characters and you to love other characters, especially Gustaf - Skarsgard, Merlin the Magician, (from Westworld and The Vikings) ... he’s quite impressive. The protagonist, Fey Queen, on point.
