This movie is refreshingly irreverent. It's an off-the-wall plot about a serial killer with a splash of romance. The leading lady (not a guy) is the central character that moves the plot forward;
- The script is fresh and hilarious
- The 80's music theme is perfectly selected, campy and aesthetically very la la neon loud 80's
- It's totally un-PC -- You may be offended in a snort and giggle kinda way
- The sound mixing is great (some Hollywood films are very hard to hear with extreme highs/lows) this movie's sound is consistent all the way through
- The costumes, set decorations were on point (and matched her sociopathic, narcissistic, OCD character)
- The actors have fantastic screen chemistry when they banter back and forth
- I confess, I bought the digital version to replay the funny parts
Tbh, I wasn't sure what to expect at first. But I wasn't a stick in the mud, oooh oooh I'm so much better than you, Linton -- with a poo-poo resting, judgy face.
I really didn't come in with pre-conceived notions and ended up liking it.
