How did this weak plot manage to get 4 episodes? The whole series had a very amateurish feel about it, much more Acorn Antiques with Rachel Stirling as Miss Babs and Anna Maxwell Martin as Mrs Overall. The set looked plastic, continuity was weak and direction poor. Their car crashed into a pile of rocks. Next shot, not a rock in sight and they walked with no injuries and the police arrived with no one having called them. From Line of Duty and Mum to this, a big mistake Anna.

Good story line with excellent script superb acting across the cast. Good detail in plot and a gentle rhythm that just draws you in. One in the eye for traditional male dominated cop soaps.
