I was blown away by how unbelievably awful this movie was. My take has nothing to do with the acting and everything to do with the exhausting, chaotic method of communication throughout the movie. It was like watching cable news in movie format. Constant yelling and arguing, nobody getting a word in, and key points being ignored. Sandler’s character constantly makes terrible decisions that dig him deeper into whatever hole he is in. I was absolutely exhausted leaving the movie. If I could give it half a popcorn bag I would, and I’d finish that half a bag myself.
