I am pretty much frustrated. The first film was so good and set my expectations high, then it literally crushed down to the ground from the sky-high.
People need to understand the storyline. The people who are giving this film a 5-star review probably never watched a superhero film and this is their first experience and unsurprisingly bemused.
There is very little connection with the first film and it started to bring characters from nowhere! Chris Pine's character looks like a bemused girl wondering around Disneyland for the first time and wow wow on everything.
The villain character (again confusing- whether its Pedro pascal or Wiig) does not specify any main antagonist character. The smart and strong girl turned cheetah all of a sudden and gets electrocuted and still alive! Fair enough she was not that bad and the director decided to keep her still alive but what about the wish grantor?
After contemplating such mayhem, he gets to meet his son without being harmed or punished?!!! Seriously?
All the pain and sufferings are only for general people as always? the so-called collateral damage and no justice?!!!
What does this film actually represent?!! Strong female character or chaos for their stupid decisions? I do not like to play the race card in any place but where is the representation of people of colour?
Forget that, in the end, the director has brought back the original owner of the armour and said she has been saving people for long! what was doing when all the chaos was taking place? Hiding in the bush?!!
The writer went clueless right after halfway through the film. Utterly failed in the action scenes. And Diana became SUPERWOMAN all of a sudden? That was a LOL moment. I thought like, are they really doing that?
Meh!
