Tom Hanks is a wonder in these characters who basically are courageously alone but not loners. A heartfelt movie about what it is to be human.

Sharon Stone as Olivia Lake is a 5 star performance and, in my view, made the show....but at her departure, I lost interest....the last 3 episodes move at a glacial pace, although nothing is wrong with the substance of those shows....and then of course, I don't like open endings...so part of the 3 Star critique of the series is reduced to that one thing...Give me 5 STAR Mare of EastTown any day.....
