Terribly watered down. If you’ve never played a Pokémon game before then you can probably have more fun than the average Pokémon fan. I can get past this game not being competitive and getting rid of breeding, and no held items and no abilities can be pushing it. BUT the move pools are practically empty. It makes it so hard to enjoy any type of battling experience. The catching mechanics and candies are really neat actually! And I love the open world feeling with Pokémon walking around and such. It just feels like they’re selling a 60 dollar game with less content than a main series game. LOL, using overwhelming as an excuse to put less content in your game, its just crazy to me.
