This game is not simulating football like it should even be a football game. This game makes me so mad and frustrated because of all the little things in this game that make a big difference. For starters, Walter Payton has 99 carry (which is supposed to affect the chance of fumbling) and he fumbles once or twice per game to a big hit. At the same time, you could have someone else like Christian Okoye, also with 99 carry who I have literally seen the whole entire game fumble once or twice. This does not make any sense at all and should not happen. Also, players with 96 speed and 96 acceleration can sometimes chase down players with 99 speed and 99 acceleration. People say pursuit stat also affects that but let’s be honest, theoretically even if a slow person is running right behind someone faster there should be no way that a slower person should be able to chase down a speedy person. Also, the ball sometimes does weird things like goes in an angle that makes no sense. Along with the fact that the game will call hits that caused incomplete passes fumbles. The game will even rob you of first downs, incomplete passes, and touchdowns. Some of the competition makes no sense either. People can spam a 7-man blitz and still get incomplete passes and interceptions. Not to mention that they can get 12 or more sacks a game unless you know how to beat it. Even the ability Mossed 100 that Randy Moss can get unless you double or sometimes you even need to triple cover him, he 100% of the time will come down with the football. If all of this still doesn’t convince you to not buy the game, there is something called pause glitching that people can still do. Basically, people can stall you out as long as they want by going to the pause screen. Normally there is a 30 second timer that goes off when you pause but some people know how to make that timer useless and stall people out. This has been a problem since Madden 17 and the fact that this has not been fixed is unacceptable. Madden 21 comes out in 3 or 4 weeks so when that comes out it will probably be a much better game than this. However, if you want to get Madden 20 because it cheaper than Madden 21 then do not get it. It is a waste of money and you will probably be frustrated with the gameplay.
