It's finally great to see a British bad guy(because, actually, most bad guys are British not Russians as it has been lied to many in the past). That being said, the series is not even spy! skimmed through up to episode 5 and gave up

Simple piece of advice to the author:
The movie is great but you CANNOT summarize a 40 episode story into a 2.5 hour show. the story is too complex to be a brief movie like tenet... you can better present it in a series/tv show
